Casey Welch

Casey Welch is the Director of Congressional Affairs. He is the administrator of Florida Citrus Mutual’s federal lobbying team and works directly with members of Congress, their staff and Federal agencies.

Casey represents Florida citrus on a broad variety of federal issues including appropriations, agriculture, homeland security/immigration, and international trade. He is also responsible for advising Florida Citrus Mutual’s Federal Political Action Committee on fundraising activities and contributions to federal candidates.

Before joining Mutual, Casey served as Deputy Legislative Director for Congressman Adam Putnam (R-FL). Previously, he worked for Florida Governor Jeb Bush and in the Florida House of Representatives. Active in Florida politics Casey has worked on several state and federal campaigns.

Casey received his bachelor’s of science in political science and history from Florida State University.
