Mutual helps growers interpret and shape governing laws, enabling them to achieve and maintain market leadership. Mutual has staff members who are registered Federal lobbyists dedicated to following policy issues in Congress and Federal Agencies.

In addition to our in-house staff members, Mutual works with the law firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Feld LLP to communicate with members of Congress and other policymakers in Washington, D.C. We also have the firm Barnes & Richardson as representatives working on trade and tariff issues on behalf of our industry.

All members of our highly regarded team have long-term relationships and strong credibility with people at all levels of the Legislative and Executive Branches.
