BASF launches online Treevix™ herbicide training module

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, September 14, 2010 – BASF Corporation has introduced a new online training module at www.treevixeducation.com that provides key information on how Treevix™ herbicide, powered by Kixor® herbicide technology, helps address a tree nut, pome fruit and citrus grower’s toughest weed challenges. Those who complete the module will be entered into a drawing to win an Apple® iPod touch® (one of eight being given away). The deadline to complete the training and enter the drawing is October 18th, 2010.

The training module includes performance photos and testimonial videos of current customer experiences when Treevix is utilized for weed control within the specialty markets. Treevix offers a unique chemistry that complements glyphosate for fast, complete burndown of more than 60 broadleaf weeds, including difficult species, such as common groundsel, hairy fleabane, cheeseweed and pigweed. It is labeled for a variety of tree nut, pome fruit and citrus crops.

Some of the key features of Treevix outlined in the training module include:

· Unique chemistry designed to target tough weeds

· Tree-safe, non-volatile
