Any person or company engaged in the commercial production of citrus in Florida.

What is the cost for a grower to join Florida Citrus Mutual?

Minimal. Florida growers pay $5 upon joining Florida Citrus Mutual, plus a yearly per-box assessment based on the USDA’s crop estimate. The assessment is set annually by Mutual’s Board of Directors.

How can you be involved in Florida Citrus Mutual if you are not a grower?

Through an Allied Membership. Florida Citrus Mutual began its Allied Membership program in 2003 to encourage greater unity and support between growers and non-citrus producing businesses that rely heavily on the success and viability of the Florida citrus industry.
